Mission Statement:
To provide a focused way of involving parents*, teachers and children to work together to improve their numeracy skills.
Aim:
To give interesting and pleasurable experiences which will lead to an enjoyment of and a confidence in mathematics for parents, teachers and children.
Objectives:
- To promote the development of mathematical thinking through practical activity and discussion.
- To demonstrate that the practical activity is fun and relevant
- To show parents, teachers and children that mathematics is enjoyable and so break the cycle of under achievement
*parents means mothers, fathers, grandparents, guardians and
other primary carers.
